Sandra Mayo aka “Ms. Novelty” is currently serving as Chief Financial Officer/Chief Operating Officer with one of largest behavioral health company’s in the State of North Carolina. She has over 20 years of experience in business administration. She specializes in a cross-functional skill set in marketing, business development and finance. She has prior experience as a coordinator in the music industry and entertainment sector. She is a powerful force in the workplace and uses her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Novelty Cigar Bar and Lounge is a long awaited dream that is now coming to fruition. Bringing fellow sisters and brothers of the leaf together one cigar at a time is truly her passion. Educating others on the leaf while providing a “safe haven” for like-minded cigar enthusiast is the mission for Novelty Cigar Bar and Lounge.

Her experience with smoking a cigar is like a “never-ending pinch me moment”..

Shanon Stanbury

Shanon Stanbury is an experienced accountant from Hickory, NC. She has more than 20 years’ experience with small business bookkeeping and full-service accounting. Shanon graduated with her undergraduate degree from Liberty University. She graduated from Western Governor’s University with a Master’s in Business Administration. Shanon has always been a proponent of life-long learning, to include personal and professional development. Due to that intrinsic desire to always do and be better, Shanon is currently actively working towards passing the CPA exam. She looks forward to helping Novelty continue to grow for years to come.

Dave Fouts, CPA, CGMA

Financial Advisor – Novelty Cigar Bar & Lounge

Dave serves as a graduate of the Kenan-Flagler Business School of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in accounting, and I am a North Carolina licensed Certified Public Accountant. With over 30 years of progressive experience as a strategic CFO and senior-level advisor for numerous high-growth small to mid-sized companies, his passion is helping owners to achieve sustainable growth through strong strategic planning and execution, focusing on key business drivers to continuously improve critical processes and to remove barriers to success. He has led successful efforts including investor search, capital funding, business valuation, turnaround management, and exit strategy formulation and execution, both as a CFO and as a business owner.
He provides consulting services on an as-needed long-term basis, serving as trusted business adviser. This helps privately held businesses as they benefit from my experience, without the fully loaded cost of a full-time employee.
